I know I’m about as Canadian as they come, but Riley is super into The America so I decided to get into the spirit as well.
What better occasion to wear my American flag skirt?!
[Yes, I have an American flag skirt… and if that doesn’t blow your mind we also have an American theme going on our bed thanks to a blue and white striped duvet cover and American flag throw pillow. I vetoed the American flag hanging on the wall, but now I’m getting off topic.]
I see multiple pictures on Instagram showcasing celebratory settings and activities and I’ll put it this way: If there’s one day I wish I could celebrate as hardcore as Taylor Swift and her “squad” it would be the 4th of July.
Maybe next year I’ll suggest Riley and I take a trip and visit our neighbors (spelt the American way since it’s appropriate) of the South. Hopefully the exchange rate won’t be so cut-throat by that time.
Happy 4th of July to all you Americans (and Canadians who own a lot of American swag in their home and wardrobe)!
