Kittens on Kittens

Quebec City was on the menu this weekend.
We traveled back home to see the fam-jam (while they’re all still under one roof for the summer) and to check in on the newest members; the 5 kittens.
I heard a handful of names for each of them. The only one who seems to don a single name is the black kitten named P.K., while Mamba, Domino, Frodo Jr., Nike, Newsie, and more names were thrown at the remaining four.
They were so cute and so much bigger than when I saw them last (a day after they were born).
Had it not been for their room smelling of cat pee, I could have stayed in there and just watched them crawl around me for hours. There’s something about a kitten purring as you pet it to sleep that’s so serene.
Riley and I were thinking of getting one, but honestly it would drive me bonkers to come home to a house smelling like doo-doo cause the cat missed the box or decided to get back at us for one thing or another. Wouldn’t exactly scream “welcome home!”…
Eventually, I’d like us to get a puppy (yes, I know they grow up into dogs). In our little 3 and 1/2 apartment, it doesn’t seem to be in the cards. However, some of our neighbours have dogs, BIG dogs at that, which I don’t really understand.
Luckily, if ever we need to get our baby animal fix, we can just pop on over to Riley’s family farm and see a collection of creatures reproducing every spring/summer.
Baby animals are my weakness.
If you’re in the market for a kitten, and I haven’t thrown you off by my argument above, we have some that need homes!
I’m sure they wouldn’t stink up YOUR house…
