A Lush-Inspired Christmas

Santa was amazing to me this year!

Shout out to friends and family for the stellar gift collection I’ll be trekking back to Montreal.

I won’t go into detail describing all the wonderful treasures I was blessed with this holiday season since it would honestly be quite long… I’VE BEEN SPOILED ROTTEN THIS YEAR!

However, I had the pleasure of trying out some of my Lush products and thought the experience was worth sharing.

This Christmas was a very Lush-inspired event! It makes me laugh since we’ve had Lush-accessible malls for quite some time now in Quebec and Montreal, but it was the first year that more than one person in the room got and received Lush products. Strange.

I now have bath bombs up the wazoo and bubble bars exploding from every crevice in my bag. Come to think of it, my bag is basically a section of the Lush store in itself.

Yesterday, I tried out a bath bomb that my brother Isaac got me.

YOGA

I thought it may be a good idea to zen out and cleanse from all the flu germs creepy-crawling around the Sweeney household in Quebec City. The bath bomb was a perfect solution!

I was astonished to see that the Yoga bath bomb took a while to fizz out. For some reason, I expected it to go much faster. The pretty orange and blue-green colours filled the bath and I impatiently awaited watching the swirls go round.

It smells amazing folks! I personally like the smell of bath bombs as individuals, but when they start mixing and mashing in the same room, I do admit it gives me a headache. Something to think about when I store them in my apartment.

Highly recommend trying it if you like a citrusy blend of scents. Unfortunately, I’m not an expert and can’t start booming off names of essential oils like Sandalwood and Ylang Ylang just by smell alone. For now, we’ll just have to broadly categorize and go from there.

Don’t be discouraged by the sewage water colour it produces once all the fizz melts into the water. Instead, take it as an opportunity to Snapchat prank a friend or loved one pretending you had a little accident while you let relaxation take over. Maybe I’m the only one who found that funny. I know Riley didn’t … Hahaha

My friend Valerie gave me A French Kiss (not literally…) bubble bar in our Christmas exchange. SO MANY BUBBLES, SO LITTLE TIME. It smells amazing as well! This one I could actually pick out, it was Lavender. I’m so fancy.

The pretty purple colour of the water caused by the French Kiss definitely trumps the sewage, but both were a pleasant experience overall. I doubt I could ever dislike a Lush bath since the mere idea of anything but plain water is so fun to think about!

Hurry on out and get the deals everyone! Lush’s Christmas gift packages are on sale now! Merry Christmas to all and to all a good bath!
