When we returned from our Paris Honeymoon, newly-wed Riley and I walked in to find the following surprise in our living room:
MOH Hannah had checked in on our apartment while we were out of the country and left our wedding gift behind.
The first envelope titled “Mr. & Mrs. Wallace” explained that we had just been blessed with dates for the next year (in poetic form).
We could barely contain our excitement!!
Some dates were in envelopes, others in boxes, with specific instructions listing when we were to open them, and at what time of the day, if applicable.
September’s date card had “September 9th” listed as its open time.
We waited until the 8th, with special permission from Hannah, and opened the card after a romantic dinner at Chez Ramanda. It contained this card:
We got to go to the Laval football game in Montreal!!
After texting Hannah, she revealed she, of course, would be driving to Montreal for the game and we would get to hang out while watching Edward play. It was all so exciting!
We snapped this picture during the tailgate before going to take our seats.
They didn’t get the W that day, but we had so much fun watching in GOOD WEATHER (a huge blessing).
Such a fun and exciting date.
I can’t wait to see what the rest of the dates are! Surprises every month, what a perfect gift!!
