This weekend, we traveled to Saint-Stanislas with Val to her parents’ cabin.
The days were filled with drinks, cards, walks, reads, and other relaxing adventures.
Val snapped a picture of us on our “somewhat illegal” hike to the rapids.

I swear I spent almost the ENTIRE stay in my Vermont sweater. It’s the perfect cabin attire.
The cool, crisp weather made for a cozy fire on Friday night (my man can light the flame!) and some cuddle sessions with my husband of now one month.
We had incredible BBQ steaks (pasta for Vegetarian-Val) on Saturday, as well as award-winning homemade coffee by Val’s dad, MARIO, on Sunday morning.
I love being out and about in this summer-fall transition period. The leaves are beautiful and the air smells amazing, you know what I mean?
We’re back in Montreal now on this Sunday evening, getting things in order for a new week.
Can’t believe next weekend is already Thanksgiving!!
Happy October everyone.
