November Date

November 1st rolled around and Riley and I got to open our third date card from Hannah!

It revealed the following:

Vouchers for brunch & bubbly at Allo Mon Coco (an amazing breakfast restaurant)!!

After reading the fine print, we realized Hannah had actually blessed us with not one breakfast date, but TWO!

We went for our first breakfast date this morning. It was at an Allo Mon Coco location we had never been to in Montreal.

The coffee was so delicious. There's something about coffee on a cold November morning that just hits the spot, am I right?

I was surprised to see that "Allo" has a new promotion for Bud Light Radler mimosas! Definitely going to try one on breakfast number two (if it's still on the menu, that is...).

Fun fact: Riley has never had a mimosa before!

I know... I could barely believe it myself.

We finished off our date morning with some shopping. Riley and I both decided we would upgrade our winter gear this year. With the arrival of the first snowfall this past week, we thought we better be safe than sorry.

You should have seen the ladies at Simons going nuts over the new hat collection. I swear, the sales women couldn't get them out of the boxes fast enough... It's that time of year!

Riley walked out with a new winter coat (so handsome on him) and I with a new toque (it was a wonder I got my hands on the one I wanted...).

Now we're ready to suit up for breakfast date number two later on in November. We can't wait!
