Our January date was stressful!!!
We got to reserve an hour in an ESCAPE ROOM at Ezkapaz!
For those of you who are unfamiliar with the Escape Room concept, you enter a room with a group of people and have a set time to solve a series of puzzles in order to escape via the clues provided to you throughout the room.
After reaching out to a few of our nearest and dearest in the Montreal area, we assembled a team of escape artists.
Chelsea, Dylan, and Val accompanied us to Ezkapaz last Saturday and, spoiler alert, WE ESCAPED!
We did the Mission : POP ! room (the easiest of the three rooms available) since majority of our posse had never gone through the experience before.
The room setting consisted of a teenage girl's bedroom set in the 80s-90s. We had to enter "Melissa's" bedroom as "Nadine" and find "Kevin's" phone number in order to ask him to the prom.
Only three clues from the outside world later (right on par with the challenge our game instructor set for us), we made the phone call and successfully got a collective date to prom with 1:20 to spare.
It was a great experience, although a nerve-wracking one, that we got to share with friends.
Such a thrilling date to kick off 2018! ;)
