February Date

The complete opposite of our January date, in February, Hannah blessed us with a perfectly-timed At Home Spa date. :)

I had a big work event on the horizon this month that had me as busy as a bee during the last weeks of January. The spa date allowed Riley and I to focus on each other and spend some quality time relaxing in the comfort of our own home.

The date box consisted of some faux rose petals, candles, Neutrogena sesame body oil, mud masks, foot rubs, and a buffer brush.

We decided to spread out the activities throughout the evening and had some laughs along the way (partially due to us having ticklish feet, and partially due to how ridiculous mud masks look on Riley's beard). HA!

We still have a ton of massage oil left (I'd highly recommend it since it smells amazing and is not sticky like some others can be) and Riley is constantly looking for opportunities to use it. Whenever I come home from the gym, he basically has it in his hand before helping me in the door. My man is truly sticking to his wedding vow to "give me quality back rubs".

The date night left me with some sweet memories before I traveled to Milton, Ontario for a cottage getaway with my girlfriends, and then off to Las Vegas for a work convention.

The only downside? That we did our date on February 1st and now have to wait a whole month wondering what's in our March envelope! ;)
